Pen Type-C is a flat, durable bookmark pen.

Perfect for everyday carry in a pocket or tucked in a notebook.

Precision machined to house a high quality cartridge that never dries or leaks.

Bent spring steel protects the tip when not in use. Flip it around to snap into writing position.

The scrappy, unassuming, take me anywhere kid sibling of Pen Type-A and Pen Type-B is here, and comes with a detachable clip.

Thin enough to be a bookmark.

Pen Type-C is 3.5 mm thin. Save that page you are reading, or slip it into your sketchbook. It's also lightweight, so it won't weigh down your pocket.

An ink cartridge that never dries or leaks.

Pen Type-C is designed to fit the Pilot Hi-Tec-C Coleto ink cartridge. It comes in 15 colors and multiple thicknesses. These cartridges are designed for clicky pens, engineered to be exposed to air and not dry or leak.
To replace, use a new cartridge to snap the old one out. Insert the new cartridge’s tip, and press it into place.

Precision machined with quality and longevity in mind.

As with other CW&T products. Pen Type-C is machined out of high quality materials with longevity in mind. It's made of grade 5 titanium with a glass bead blast finish.

No branding.

You know the drill. We don’t put our names on your stuff.

A detachable clip.

Pen Type-C comes with a durable, stainless steel clip. Keep it anchored to a book, pocket, shirt ... your socks?!

If you'd rather go clipless, you can remove the screws and the clip with a flathead screwdriver.

Available with a custom engraving.

Make yours a little extra with a laser etched mark. We do these in-house, so it will not delay your order.

Just superior.

I've carried the type C with me daily for 3 weeks. Use it to make log entries up to 30 times daily. Have mastered the ability to one handedly open and close it. It can be done. Initially I had concerns about the heartiness of the pocket clip but it has weathered a fair bit if use from shirt pocket to log pages to Chinos pocket without loosening ,stretching or bending. Admittedly , for $50.00 it's not a pen for everyone but it ticks every box for me. So much I purchased a second one and many refills as back up. I could have gotten them less expensively elsewhere but being so happy with the product and customer service from these fine folks I wanted to support them as much as I could during these trying times. Give their products a try and you'll likely feel similarly.

Love my Pen Type-C

The pen feels good for my hand and style of writing, I did try to unscrew the holder in order to replace the ink tube, but found out its not necessary. I love the option to engrave and already got two of these to relatives. Very satisfied customer :)

Another CW&T Win

I own two of the Pen Type C’s. I purchased this one in orange. I tuck it into my Bullet Journal and always have this pen available. Love it!

I love this pen - for book purposes!

I love this pen. I now own three. For annotation (note taking) in books - it's the best pen I've ever found. With personalized engraving, if I leave my book with the pen in it - someone will pick it up and know it's mine. The pen is not practical for lengthy writing of script on paper - the flat shape, of course, is less than ideal for "ease of fit" in one's hand. For annotation and books - I think this is the best pen ever! And, changing out ink cartridges is simple, meaning I'll likely have my pens for a lifetime!

Love it…and so does everyone else

My first purchase from CW&T was a Pen Type A, which I longed for for a good 6 months before I finally splurged and treated myself to it. Its combination of beauty and fine engineering has made it my favorite pen ever since. The Type C looked interesting, but I thought it looked like it might be a little awkward to hold. Same thing, I waited a while, and then, trusting that it would become another CW&T fixture on my (analog) desktop, I grabbed one during the summer. I usually prefer a thicker line, but I’ve grown to love the elegance of the thin 0.3 diameter tip. My only feedback is that the Pen Type C did get to be a little rough on my fingers after a long session grading papers, and I had to switch over to the type A to finish. Maybe a version with slightly more rounded edges would be gentler on the hand. Nevertheless, I bought one for my son for Xmas, and got a left handed Herring Blade for my other boy. Big fan of CW&T…I’m thinking a jumprope might be the next thing I need to recover from sitting in my chair too much during the pandemic!
