Want to use an alternate ink cartridge for your Pen Type-A or Pen Type-B?
You'll need a small spacer to fill up the extra space on some cartridges. You can buy these little spacers here, or cut a piece of tubing or a wooden dowel to the appropriate length. Check below for the appropriate length for your ink cartridge.

I got this adapter so I could use the Zebra EQ refill in the Pen Type-B. WOW! This refill really sealed the deal for me with this pen. I wrapped a little scotch tape on the refill where the metal insert goes and it was perfect!
