Despite waiting so long for the well-documented Kickstarter production and fulfillment drama to wrap up that I pretty much forgot why I ordered this in the first place—and despite being entirely indifferent when it finally arrived—I am astonished at just how much use I've gotten out of this thing. Despite not being advertised as such, the sturdy but sexy and non-bulky build makes this a great desk stand for an iPad in Sidecar mode (the stand practically disappears making it seem as if the device is just holding its own weight up), as well as a desk/tabletop stand for a Nintendo Switch. I use it for those more than I do my phone. Nice-looking options for minimalist desk stands for either iPads or Switches are so dire on Amazon, for example, that I think CW&T would benefit from mentioning these uses in the product description and showing some examples in photos. Seems untapped. So I get daily use out this at my desk while remote working, and we keep another in the recipe for holding the phone up while cooking from a recipe to keep from keeping grease and flower all over my phone case (another unexpectedly nice utility I didn't consider before it arrived).

Just received my kickstarter "order" of two stands. One silver one black. They are great. Big enough for iPads if I am not typing heavily, great for FaceTime. Thank you for making your way through all the manufacturing breakdowns and disappointments. I recommend these fully.
