Pen Type-C is designed to fit the Pilot Hi-Tec-C Coleto ink cartridge. It comes in 15 colors and multiple thicknesses. These cartridges are designed for clicky pens, engineered to be exposed to air and not dry or leak.
To replace, use a new cartridge to snap the old one out. Insert the new cartridge’s tip, and press it into place.

it feels strange to be reviewing this item now, given that it's the second Pen Type-C I've owned. the first one, which I had for over two years before losing it this June, was the only pen I used for writing during that period of time. I estimate I probably put to paper some 150,000 words with it, including the entire first draft of a book. while I think that fact stands alone as a testament to the quality of the product, it's worth noting explicitly why this pen is such a phenomenal piece of equipment. as is readily apparent, this pen is beautifully designed. it is sleek, minimal, and flat enough to slip comfortably in a pocketbook, and has a striking contour from just about any angle. what is less apparent, however, is that it is remarkably comfortable to write with. I initially bought it thinking I would keep it around for a signature every now and then, and was surprised to find it actually sits better in the hand than any other pen I've owned — I love the way this thing fits between my fingers, and I can write with it at length without either losing my grip or cramping up. this is only bolstered by the apt selection to fit this for the Hi-Tec-C cartridge, which writes smoothly and consistently (even at a razor-thin 0.3mm), comes in a wide variety of inks, and costs next to nothing to replace. as an added bonus, the titanium construction renders it effectively indestructible under most conditions, which is a nice guarantee to have for what is certainly a very expensive writing tool. as someone who spends a lot of time writing by hand, I was constantly searching for a better pen before I happened upon the Pen Type-C. at once a workhorse tool and a striking example of product design (I relish showing it off almost as much as I love actually using it), it is quite simply a brilliant, and brilliantly simple, piece of machinery. I'm truly grateful for CW&T for having brought this idea to fruition, and I suspect I'll be using it for the rest of my life.

I live with a pen and notebook in my pocket. This is the perfect replacement to my daily pen. I love it! I also love the ink. I'm a lefty and devoted Pilot G2 0.38 user. I think Iike this cartridge even more! I'm also an engineer and designer. I love elegant and utilitarian design. I love everytime I pull this pen out. It also brings on a lot of comments!

I am very happy with my pen. I am retired so no longer carry the fountain pens I always had, but miss having something. The pen type c is an excellent substitute to always have a pen with you but small and unobtrusive. Great build quality and utility. Thanks. RKP

I love the work you guys do, unfortunately my pen got lost on its way over to Sweden. Will maybe order another (in for a penny in for a pound haha)
