Salty is a precision machined, stainless steel salt vessel meant to last generations.

It has a lid you can slide with one hand, a body of corrosion-resistant grade 316 stainless steel, a 3M bumpon pad on protect any surface it rests on, and a glass bead blast finish. All three parts of easily come apart, for refilling and for cleaning dishwasher safe) and the opening is made for all sizes of hands to reach in and pinch salt at the table or at the stove.

This project is a collaboration with Kristen Taylor.

The underside of Salty has a 3M bumpon pad to protect surfaces, along with a laser mark with the CW&T product ID, and a dab of its color ID.

As elemental as sodium and chlorine

Satisfying process of sliding the circle over for finishing salt, and easy and fun to refill. Looking forward to passing to my children (if I ever have some, lol).

Salty over-engineered to perfection

The Salty is amazing. Beautiful to the touch, the aesthetic feeling unmatched, the sound of the disc moving open or closed is delightful, the action is great, even the salt seems to taste better. I recommend it to any lover of CW&T products.

A beauty.

This salt cellar is so wonderfully designed it is a pleasure to use. Its fun! The sliding door is so satisfying and it actually holds a lot of salt without being unwieldy so you are not constantly refilling. CW&T did it again :-)

OverKill.....I love it

All of the items I have purchased from CW&T have been over-engineered, in such a wonderful way. This is not your ordinary salt container. It is very well thought out, functional, and substantial in its build quality. The devil, they say, is in the details. Very happy purchase! A++
