"I have searched the length and breadth of the internet and own a dozen Titanium pens but this has by far exceeded one's expectations. A completed and a finished product that lives up to its hype. I can safely and unequivocally say...Built to last! Must have."

"Penfection! I own lots of pens and was still absolutely blown away by the Type-B. I have read the reviews and originally assumed people were exaggerating a little. Nope. This is the real deal. I feel privileged to own such a wonderful piece of functional art. Thank you CW&T!!"

- Jim S. (USA)

A minimal everyday pen, over-engineered to last generations.

The ultimate pen for illustrators, designers, and architects.

Precision machined to create a piston-like effect between the pen and sleeve. The pen falls slowly and makes a nice popping sound when you pull it quickly from its sleeve.

No visible logo.

Precision machined flat so it won't roll off your desk.

A super minimal everyday pen, engineered to last generations.

The ultimate pen for illustrators, designers, and architects.

The ultra-high machining tolerances between the pen and sleeve create a piston-like effect. The pen falls slowly into its sleeve and makes a nice popping sound when you pull it out quickly.

Pen Type-B has no visible logo.

The brass sleeve purposely doesn't have a coating, so your Pen Type-B can develop its own unique patina over time as you handle your pen.

Titanium Pen Type-B is available with a matte black ceramic-polymer coating (Cerakote). The coating is durable, but over time it will wear to reveal the titanium underneath. We think it gives a kind of cool and rugged feel.

Pen Type-B in titanium weighs almost half the weight of its brass and stainless steel counterpart. It's got the hardness of stainless steel and the lightness of aluminum. That's really hard to beat. Titanium is the ultimate material. Both the sleeve and the pen are made of titanium.

Order a Pen Type-B with a custom laser engraving on the flat surface of the pen sleeve.

Available with an aluminum case.

MADE IN THE USA

Pen Type-B (along with all of our other pens) are manufactured at a multi-generation machine shop in Vermont. Each pen is carefully made above and beyond the necessary tolerances to ensure a perfect fit between the pen and the sleeve. It takes over 20 highly tuned operations to craft a Pen Type-B.

A Very Fine Device

I have used and consequently loved these pens everyday for years. They're stylishly but above all soundly crafted instruments, substantial tools.

Love

Every aspect has been a joy. Love the pen itself— the weight, the shape in hand, the precision of the .3 ink inside. I’ve played around with changing the ink and it’s been delightfully easy to change the cartridge, which is not always true for machined pens. Also, very pleasant and easy interactions with the team for customer service. Highly recommend :)

i use it every day. the cerakote is wearing, be mindful of that— but i’m sort of excited for the day it’s more silver than black. my go-to pen for everything. it is heavy which can get tiresome but you can always take the pen out of the sleeve and use it that way, too. beautiful tool and everyone i show it to loves it. keeping this for the grandchildren some day.

Amazing pen, bad support

Overall, this is a great pen and I'm happy with my purchase. The two stars has more to do with customer support on a $200 pen. First, I wrote to them about ink and never heard back. If you are skilled at pen knowledge, you'll be fine but if you are spending a good chunk of change it helps to hear back and have questions answered in a timely manner. Second, as I placed my order I asked if the engraving is in ALL CAPS (the only way it is shown on the website) or if you can do lower and uppercase. If so, I wanted to change what I was having engraved. I never heard back so I assumed it would be all caps but it is not. The pen came and they gave me a minor refund but again for over $200 it would be nice to get support along those lines. So, I love the pen, and I am enjoying using it. But often when you pay premium for a product the support and help is better than it is with a cheaper option. That is not the case here but it's a pen, how much support do you really need? Not that much but there's room for improvement in that regard.
