Kilo is a table weight made from damaged and repurposed Superlocal clocks. The main body may have dings and scratches.
Adhered to the underside is a smooth ultra-suede pad to protect surfaces.
Because Kilo is made from re-purposed parts, it may arrive with superficial blemishes.

United StatesAnother impactful way to recycle. These timepieces are repurposed once more as heavy-duty table weights. So far I’ve used them for manual fabric cutting projects to weight down patterns onto fabric. Each Kilo features a minimal design that I’m also keen to display/make them easy to store when not in use. Be warned, each Kilo is subject to unique blemishes as the are made from used from reworked goods. CW&T always putting the fun in functional!

Overall, this is a beautiful object. However, the buying experience was unfortunately confusing, I thought I was buying an object with the word CW&T and the weight of the object etched into the face. That seemed important to the concept and title of the object. Nonetheless, I am enjoying them. Particularly for a sort of tiny kettle bell exercise that make me look like a horse and is fun when playing make-believe! Thank you for what you’ve done. And, if there is a way for me to exchange these for the objects with the original etching, that would be lovely!

CW&T does it again with an object that is beautiful to see, touch, and love with. I wasn’t clear, though, that the engraving as shown in the image wasn’t going to be part of the four weights I bought. Now that I relook at the product page, I see an extra cost for engraving. But I thought the engraving as shown would still be there as I enjoy the idea of the object clarifying its weight. Nonetheless, beautiful.
